Vail Resort Epic Pass
Resorts now offers 14 ski resorts on one Epic Pass with the addition of
Whistler Blackcomb this season and
Stowe Vermont (just the ski mountain - not the
Spruce Village) next in the Epic Mix! You can buy the Epic Pass
and have full access to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone,
City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, and Arapahoe Basin, Afton Alps and Mt.
Brighton, and Perisher Australia. There are several passes available including
the Epic Pass that is unrestricted, unlimited skiing all the ski resorts,
and the Epic Local with a few black outs but less money. If
you plan to ski at several of these ski resorts, the Epic Pass makes sense, you can
buy it early season for as low as $809, with no black out dates. That's cheaper
than buying a week's worth of lift tickets at any one of these ski resorts. A
day ticket at Vail is $149, $165 at Beaver Creek.
Once you have the Epic Pass, download the Epic Mix - Vail Resorts' engaging
mobile ski app. From the folks who bought you the best super savings season
pass this smart phone app tracks your vertical skiing, gives you real time info
on ski conditions, lift line times throughout Vail Resort, and its partner
resorts, shows how your kids are progressing in ski school, and how your race
time is compared to Lindsey Vonn. Epic Mix even logs photos of you and your
friends that were captured around the mountain, thanks to your scan-able RFID
lift access card. You don’t even need your phone turned on. Just sign up,
turn off your phone and go ski if that’s the way you want to play. You can check
your skiing stats online on a PC with your pass # or on your phone at the end of
the ski day, or the end of the ski season
So Vail Resorts now has the monopoly on ski resorts, passes and ski apps. But
the Max Pass offers 39 ski resorts, - 5 days at each, merging Boyne Resorts of
Sky Montana, Cypress, Crystal and Snowqualmie, Brighton
Sunday River and
Sugarloaf in New England plus Okemo, with
Intrawest resorts Tremblant, Winter Park, Steamboat, Copper and Stratton, plus Powdr Corp who owns Mt Bachelor,
Killington and Pico, Boreal, and Ski Las Vegas.
Also Mont Sainte Anne, Kimberly, Kicking Horse, Fernie, and Crested Butte are on
the Max Pass.
Another great multiple ski resort pass is the Mountain
Collective, offering skiers 14 days total at these top ski destinations: 2 days
at Alta and Snowbird, 2 days at Aspen Snowmass, 2 days at
Jackson Hole, 2 days
at Mammoth, 2 days at Ski Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine, 2 days at Squaw
Valley/Alpine Meadows, and 2 days at Whistler Blackcomb this year, until 2017/18
when Whistler will be on Vail's Epic Pass.
Still the Vail Resorts Epic Pass is the big one.
Included on The Epic Pass is of course Vail Colorado - the biggest and brightest
in the bunch with over 5,200 acres of skiing, 31 lifts and over 200 trails and immense Back Bowls.
Nearby to Vail are sister ski resorts Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin. In Lake Tahoe, your Epic Pass is valid at Heavenly,
Kirkwood in California. In Utah, you can ski and ride at
Park City Mountain Resort which now includes
The Canyons in Utah. And the latest Vail
acquisition Whistler Blackcomb and
Vail's first East coast ski resort purchase - Stowe
Vermont for $50 million. Plus there are smaller midwest
mountains of Wilmot, Afton Alps and Mt Brighton in
If you are planning a couple of weeks out west skiing, you should strongly
consider buying the Epic Pass, then download the Epic Mix and start bagging
